Catherine the Great is at the peak of her power. While the downtrodden people bleed under their tyrannical rule, the nobility followed their tsarina’s example and indulged in unbridled excess. It was not without reason that the people gave her the nickname: Catherine the Whore of St. Petersburg.

“Katharina and Her Wild Stallions” is the first part of a two-part pornographic film disguised as a historical drama. Released in cinemas in 1983 as a single film without any pornographic scenes, it focuses on the sadistic cruelties with which the illegitimate Empress Catherine and her childishly deranged “son of a whore” oppress the people for their own amusement. This extended version contains recurring pornographic elements, which are considerably less graphic than the cruelties depicted in the non-pornographic version.…
