French rebel filmmaker Jose Benazeraf (1922-2012). Although his films received some theatrical distribution in France in the 1960s and 1970s, his trademark signature of blending hardcore sex (legalized in France since the early 1970s), generic elements such as horror, crime, film noir, psychological drama, political content and experimental film techniques didn’t exactly make him a popular name or guarantee his commercial viability with larger, mainstream audiences. His three decade filmography was a collection of cult films largely unknown and difficult to see outside of Europe.

This film concerns a prominent parisian lawyer who takes advantage of a young girl who he has intercourse with and subsequently jailed for six months, when he is released he is forced into a shotgun wedding with the daughter played by french actress Béatrice Harnois who also starred in Felica and began her career in pornographic films.
