Touch Me 1971

£13.72 £12.35

Psychotherapist, Dr. Lloyd Davis (Tom Stephens) is running an “encounter group” at his mansion. The theme of the encounter is sensual awareness with the aim of helping couples get over their hang-ups by learning to express themselves. Davis leads the groups through speeches and an ever-escalating set of sensual exercises. The screenplay is by Michael Abel and Stanley Zero who provide a thoughtful script structured in faux-educational, semi-white-coater style. Their script is surprisingly high-minded, with much of the doctor’s spiel and the exercises that he gets the participants to engage in having a rudimentary sense.
