Description
The Gates of Hell Trilogy refers to three thematically linked supernatural‑gore horror films directed by Italian filmmaker Lucio Fulci between 1980–1981. They are not direct sequels but share motifs of hell portals, undead resurrection, and extreme gore, and all star Catriona (Katherine) MacColl in leading roles.
City Of The Living Dead (1980)
A priest’s suicide opens a gateway to Hell in Dunwich, unleashing zombies and psychic phenomena. A journalist and a clairvoyant race to close the portal.

The Beyond (1981)
Set in a Louisiana hotel built over one of the Seven Doors of Death, a woman inherits the property and awakens nightmarish supernatural forces.

A family moves into a New England home haunted by a monstrous surgeon lurking in the basement.
