Description

Written by Hypatia Lee and directed by Bud Lee, the film was one of the last decently budgeted 35mm adult films and is reasonably ambitious in its outlook, achieving a good blend of period detail, comedic farce and amusing sex. The script is cleverly constructed with an anthology format that delivers a range of different settings and scenarios. It also quite funny in parts with plenty of social satire that pokes fun at religion and the nobility and sex sequences that point to human foibles and hypocrisy. Bud Lee’s direction is brisk and never takes itself too seriously.
